Abstract

Se realiza una reflexión de carácter lingüístico y filosófico sobre el papel desempeñado por los lenguajes documentales asociativos en la organización del conocimiento científico y en su recuperación y difusión. Se subraya la evolución de estos lenguajes en herramientas lingüistas de carácter transdisciplinar por cuanto las nuevas tecnologías de la información exigen instrumentos capaces de imbricar diferentes especialidades científicas en el ámbito de la sociedad del conocimiento. En este contexto, se ha elaborado el Tesauro de Educación Superior, del cual se describe su metodología, características, fuentes documentales, composición y estructura.

Javier Gimeno Perelló es licenciado en Filología Hispánica, Master en Documentación científica y Doctorado en CC. de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, y Especialista universitario en Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad por la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
