Abstract

A autora nos apresenta a definição do que se entende por promotor cultural, bem como sua atuação e suas funções nessa função.

Ela estabelece que a biblioteca é um dos meios pelos quais o promotor cultural pode realizar suas atividades. Ela diferencia a extensão cultural da extensão bibliotecária e nos diz que, por meio das atividades de extensão cultural, a biblioteca pode se tornar um centro de difusão da cultura. Ela menciona algumas atividades que podem ser realizadas em uma biblioteca como atividades de extensão cultural.
