Clasificando y catalogando los documentos oficiales de los presidentes colombianos 1810-1998

Análisis de los asientos principales para publicaciones oficiales emanadas de la denominación de Presidentes. El caso colombiano fue usado para el estudio de la forma correcta de asientos individuales principales y secundarios. También se estudiaron los problemas presentados por el esquema de Clasificación LC en relación a la periodización histórica colombiana y los encabezamientos temáticos usados para presentar de la denominación presidencial. Se encontró una violación de la periodización histórica, no uso de los asientos corporativos para dictadores pero si usándose el encabezamiento de materia, variación en las formas de uso de ellos, y falta de normalización. Una lista extensiva de presidentes colombianos se ofrece en un anexo, como una forma de ayuda a la labor bibliotecaria.
Analysis of the main entry for official publications emanated from the nominated Presidents. The Colombian case was used to study the correct form of main and secondary individual entries. It was also studied problems presented by LC classification scheme in relation to Colombian historical periodization and subject headings used to represent presidential nomination. It was found violation of historical periodization, no use of corporative entries for dictators but its use as subject headings, variation in the forms of use of them, and lack of normalization. An extensive listing of Colombian Presidents is offered in an annex, as a way to facilitate the librarian labor.
