Abstract

El ciclo vital del documento, desarrollado por la teoría archivística tradicional, se define en tres etapas, que a su vez han permitido diferenciar tres tipos de archivos según la etapa donde se encuentren los archivos; asimismo se presenta otra división de acuerdo a la gestión del documentos, concepto que se fue introduciendo de manera paulatina entre la comunidad archivística. El autor nos deja en claro estos conceptos, propios de la Archivística.
