Censo de documentación argentina en formato microfilm

Abstract

La discontinuidad de las iniciativas institucionales orientadas a la preservación documental en formato microfilm en Argentina ha obstaculizado el desarrollo coordinado de proyectos de microfilmación de largo alcance. Con el objetivo de conocer y difundir la documentación histórica en formato microfilm alojada en instituciones argentinas y extranjeras, así como de sistematizar las iniciativas particulares en este campo, el Centro de Estudios Históricos e Información Parque de España (Rosario, Argentina) emprendió la realización del Proyecto de Censo de Archivos Documentales en formato Microfilm. El artículo refiere los objetivos, criterios de organización, desarrollo y resultados de dicho Censo, del cual participaron aproximadamente 300 instituciones. La información procesada comprende la descripción bibliográfica de las colecciones, la descripción física de los microfilms y de las condiciones de almacenamiento de los masters, catalogada de acuerdo a los parámetros establecidos por el formato MARC para este tipo de material

Norma Silvana Lanciotti

Rosario, Argentina (1969). Licenciada en Historia. Profesora de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Estadística de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario y Coordinadora del Proyecto Censo de Documentación en Formato Microfilm desarrollado en el Centro de Estudios Históricos e Información Parque de España (http://www.cehipe.org.ar).

Actualmente es Jefe de Trabajos Prácticos de Historia del Pensamiento Económico (FCE-UNR), y becaria de formación de postgrado del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (Argentina.

Gerardo Salta

Cañada de Gómez, Santa Fe, Argentina (1969. Bibliotecario, Profesor de la carrera de Bibliotecología (ISET No. 18, Rosario) y Consultor técnico del Centro de Estudios Históricos e Información Parque de España.

Actualmente es docente de la especialidad de Bibliotecología en el ISET No. 18 de Rosario; además es bibliotecario del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano de Rosario.
