Elementos para un programa de alfabetización informacional: La autoeficacia hacia el uso de la computadora

Resumen

Estudio sobre la influencia de las variables sociodemográficas y de personalidad sobre la autoeficacia con las computadoras de los estudiantes de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello en dos áreas diferentes del conocimiento: ciencias sociales y tecnológicas. Los resultados sugieren la necesidad de organizar programas de alfabetización informacional para orientar a los estudiantes en el uso efectivo de las TIC y además así multiplicar sus experiencias en la comunidad académica.

Mabel Calderín Cruz, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Venezuela.

Investigadora del CIC-UCAB. Licenciada en Información Científico Técnica y Bibliotecología en la Universidad de La Habana, Cuba. Especialista en Gerencia de Redes de Unidades de Servicios de Información en la Universidad Central de Venezuela y Magíster en Sistemas de Información, UCAB, Venezuela. Línea de investigación: Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación: Sistemas de Información Documental.
